Dragon German Sturmpanzer IV in 1:35 scale

This model represents a Series 3 production Sturmpanzer IV based on the Panzer IV Ausf. H chassis - approximately 40 out of the 306 total production. Distinguishing features are Zimmerit anti-mine paste, driver’s indirect vision periscope, large tool box on port fender, air pre-filter on starboard fender and all-steel track support rollers.

The model is marked with a Roman “I” and has an additional radio antenna on the port side, making this a rare Befelsturmpanzer IV. The brass antennas are from LionMarc. The tracks are Model Kasten replacements and the jerry cans are from Great Wall Hobby.

It was painted with Lifecolor paints. This model depicts a vehicle that has lost or removed its Schurzen (skirt armor). The kit did not come with Zimmerit, so that was added using Aves Apoxie Sculpt.
